A: Firstly you need to register, once registered you can click on "Place an Advert" then simply follow the steps. Choose the appropriate category, add your kit details and any photos. You have complete control to manage your adverts 24 hours a day and you can update or even delete them whenever you want. Your advert will remain listed for four weeks or you decide to remove it.

Q: How quickly will my advert appear?

A: New additions to the site appear once the Kitforsale.com database is updated - this happens every night and at various times during the day. Please be patient it can take up to 5 hours for your advert to fully appear, however it will be immediately visible in the search results.

Q: How to add a photo?

A: You can add a photo at the same time you enter the details of your kit advert. You can place up to 5 photos of your kit, 3 initially and a further 2 once the advert is placed. Towards the bottom of the form you will see 3 boxes these allow you to locate the photo on your computer and upload at the same time as placing your advert. Choose from your own images or use the Kitforsale.com stock photo library.

If you need to modify your advert you need to log in, click on "My Account" then on "My Ads" this will then display your advert. At the bottom of the advert are 3 photo fields, simply locate the photos you have on your PC or floppy and upload them. Note - before uploading your photos - Photo sizes need to be no larger than 500 x 500 pixels. File size must be less than 35kb. File type can be .jpg (recommended) or gif.

A: Putting together an advert requires a bit of thought and time. Think about your descriptions carefully as it is easy to mislead a potential buyer. The best advice is to keep it simple and concise - but don't forget that all of the words you enter within your advert can be found by our great search tool.
