Monty Spindler has been busy in the Loft's R&D department and cutting room and launches the brand new Blade, which will be available in series in sizes 5.1, 5.6, 6.2, 6.8, 7.5 & 8.5 for 2007.
Some of us are old enough to remember the ART Blade - a dedicated cambered slalom sail - designed by Monty some 10 years ago. Well it is great to see that he hasn't lost his touch.
Looking a little like the new Neil Pryde RS6 it appears to have all the hallmarks of one very fast sail.
"Development of the new 2007 Blade has been intense over the past two years and the Blade is The Loft's new dedicated slalom & speed racing design." said Monty.
"Sizes 5.1 to 6.2 have 7 battens, sizes 6.8 and up have 8 battens (not including the Sensitip). All sizes include 4 cams, all sizes designed specifically for rdm masts!"
