If you are looking for a board that can perform in all kinds of disciplines,
whether it is Super X, freeride or even freestyle, the new XTC could be the
board for you.
Like a number of the major manufacturers this year, F2 have launched a brand
new range that aspires to be the one board designed for a number of disciplines.
In fact there are 3 boards in the XTC range which effectively replaces the
Eliminator of last year.
The range sports a more compact outline - making it ideal for freestyle,
whilst the rails and rocker of the board have been designed for maximum speed
and early planing. The shaper Patrik Diethelm has worked his magic on the
underside, creating a double concave leading to a very light V towards the tail,
meaning more speed and better tracking in chop.
The boards can be set up in either 3 or 4 strap configuration and are built
using the latest carbon composite technology. The new harmonic deck has been
specifically designed for maximum comfort whilst sailing at speed. For those
that are looking for the ultimate windsuring board, F2 have announced an XTC
Limited version which will bring the weight down a further kilogram on the
standard models.
