F2 introduces a whole new concept the F2 Spice 2007, the perfect board.

Three allround boards, blending the manoeuvrability of a wave board with the speed and excitement of a slalom board. A revolution in board design.!!

Promoted as being a brand new concept, and ultimately "the perfect board", F2 have taken a radical approach to designing its 2007 range of board for the freeride and freewave markets. Taking centre stage is the new Spice, a true bump and jump board ideal for all kinds of waves and wind conditions.

Developed by the hands of F2's chief shaper, Patrick Diethelm, the Spice uses a clever mix of moderate rocker line (similar to what might be found on a slalom board) and a more stretched outline more along the lines of a freestyle/wave board. The bottom has also been modified to ensure the board is controllable in the most overpowered of conditions. A double concave leads into two stabilizing side flats which smoothes out the ride through chop, whilst the transition from double concave to a flat V provides good lift leading to increased early planing and a very free feeling.

The tail has been flattened slightly to ensure no speed is lost and the round harmonic deck can be set up with either 3 or 4 strap options to provides maximum comfort. Patrik has taken great care over the rail shape, introducing a mixture between wave and slalom rails, not too thin and not too thick - just right to provide enough comfort and sailing smoothness when you going fast into a turn.

The outcome is a board that planes very early, has good acceleration, a high top speed and amazing manoeuvrability.

Available in sandwich carbon and wood for a good strength / weight ratio - these boards are going to be very popular this season.

So if you are into flat water blasting or shredding at your local break the F2 Spice could be a new contender for that perfect board.
