This lady kitesufer must have thought her day couldn't have got off to a worse start! Spotted on the road yesterday near the small kite beach at Sandbanks in Poole this unlucky kitesurfer managed to tangle her Wipika kite in a nearby telegraph pole.
With a steady Force 6 and gusts of over 45 knots being recorded it was looking like an epic day. However, it looks like soon after launching things took a turn for the worse.
We don't know the poor ladies name (so we will save her some embarrassment) but she was obviously in good hands with two Police squad cars standing by diverting traffic whilst they tried to retrieve the kite.
