Windsurfing never fails to come up with surprises every year. In a world where it is possible to design your own Nike trainers online and have them delivered with your name stitched into the leather, we knew it wouldn't be long before one of the board brands launched a customisation service.
Well, F2 have done it! Now you can do just that and create your very own board using their CYB Customize Your Board program.
Available online soon, the software programme allows you to choose a set of graphics for your new board and order it online. Having just launched the new Guerilla wave series, F2 have given their customers even more choice, by allowing you to choose from a collection of designs.
As far as we know the 3 model Guerilla range, the Guerilla 69, 76 and 84 will all be avilable in CYB options. In the future customers will be able to choose from a pallet of 40 different graphics across a range of themes - Tribal, Retro, Pinups, Flags, Urban and Nature, and a choice of 23 colour and 3 textures. With the number of combinations it means that you can be almost be sure that no one else on the water will have a similar board.

Once you are happy with your board, the user will be taken through a validation process before the board is automatically sent to the production machines at the Cobra factory in Thailand. It is estimated that the average delivery time will be around a month, with the first ordered boards during November being available early in the New Year.
We think it is a great step forward which means that at last you can own a great production board but have the option that it could have the look be of a unique custom board.
As usual, all boards will be covered by a manufacturers warranty.
