JP international have announced the releses JP SLALOM PRO EDITION range in 3 sizes 94l, 114l, 134l. The release of the range is said to be in response to the international revival of Speed and Slalom sailing.
The new Slalom range will use a full Carbon "Ultra Light" construction and have that funky super functional sanded finish look.
The bottom shape has the standard channel bottom that JP Australia is known for, this produces a flatter rocker line through the middle of the board for straight line speed, while the rails have more rocker making gybing easier.
The shapes have a very rounded nose with quite alot of volume up front, early planing should be expected.
The actual release date is set for mid May 2005, so expect to hear more closer to the date
