Neil Pryde launch a brand new website celebrating the evolution of the NP
Zone which was first introduced in mid-1998 as Jason Polakow own signature wave
sail. Designed specifically to suit his distinctive surf inspired, down the line
riding style the Zone immediately became a best seller and established it as a
hit with may wave sailors.
A new generation of rider then entered the beach scene and soon Levi Siver
found himself adopted as the training partner of Jason Polakow. Throughout the
following season, Hookipa would frequently coe to a standstill as Jason and Levi
took turns to rip it up in the waves, each puching the other's performance to
new limits. Levi's favourite sail? Go to be the Zone.
Fast forward to 2005 and another rising star begins to make a presence on the
PWA World Tour. 20 year ol Alex Mussolini capped a superb season by winning the
Aloha Classic at Hookipa, beating some of the biggest names in th esport in
perfect conditions. Alex's favourite sail? The Zone!
Three generations of wave sailors all with the same weapon of choice the
Zone. Three sailors who sahre their love of riding big, fast waves and a taste
